Organizing Committee of the 29th Olympic Games

Founded on December 13, 2001, it is composed of heads of relevant departments of the Beijing Municipal Government, the State Sports General Administration, the Central Committee and the State Council, experts on Olympic affairs, representatives of outstanding athletes, people from the education, science and technology, cultural circles, as well as entrepreneurs and other well-known figures in society.
